About

When we first learned of Lucian's condition, a simple Google search for esophageal atresia only turned up one-page results on the subject.  Although it was good information, there were bits and pieces of GREAT information scattered amongst hundreds of thousands of results. Another downfall of what seemed to be the most relevant results was that they were all to-the-point, with no real "compasionate" information on the subject. Some of these highly trusted websites where I was gathering my information on esophageal atresia were leaving me with more questions than answers. Thats when the idea for a better, more presonal, social esophageal atresia website was spawned, however, it would be a long time before that dream could become a working realization, as our Lucian came before anything else.

EsophagealAtresia.org was founded and launched in May 2008 by myself, Travis Hill and my partner, Lucain's mother, Kayla Pearson, parents of Esophageal Atresia Type C survivor Lucian Hill.
